Application and efficacy

ActiBeet^® - is widely applicable for all animal categories and species in feed and/or drinking water.

Having three methyl groups and a bipolar structure, betaine has a broad range of functional advantages which have been demonstrated in livestock under stressful conditions. Beside of the well-known saving effects of methionine and choline, ActiBeet^® has further benefits:

• on the livestock health status: especially gut health, enhancing the litter quality (less wet litter problems), reduction of dirty eggs, lower incidence on digestive disorders (diarrhea) and pododermatitis, lower somatic cell counts in dairy cows.

• better performance: higher body weight gain, higher breast meat percentage, more milk, more eggs, and higher numbers of weaned piglets with better uniformity.
